International studies have shown that electric appliances and power supplies are only "working" during 5-25% of the time and using unnecessary power in Stand-by Mode during the rest of the time. Only in Switzerland this "wasted" power adds up to 10% of the total power consumption.

But there is another way, as SIStech Inc. is showing: Intelligent power management reduces the stand-by power consumption to as little as 0.001 Ampere. This is possible because all power supplies and chargers from SIStech are equipped with intelligent microprocessors. These are switching-off electronic components that are not needed in stand-by mode.
